Portable with a new game for sony PSP for Rock Band

Tomorrow MTV and EA are releasing a trailer for the new portable Rock Band game, Rock Band Unplugged. The game won't be available for sale until June 9.

The game is co-developed by Harmonix and Backbone Entertainment. But don't worry about hooking up the drums, guitar and microphone to it; that's not necessary for this game.

The creaters of Rock Band Unplugged stated in a press release, reported on MTV.com,"Your hands are the 'peripherals' in Rock Band Unplugged allowing you to take direct control of the lead/bass guitars, drums and vocals." There is also "beat-matching" gameplay that requires players to follow a sequence and tap specific buttons as music plays.

Rock Band Unplugged has over 40 songs to play along to, and players can even download new songs from the PlayStation Network store. The game will also have key Rock Band franchise features such as character customization and World Tour, Warm Up and Band Survival modes.
