'Achchamundu! Achchamundu!' receives honour in Garden State Film Festival,USA

The Tamil flick 'Achchamundu! Achchamundu!' won the Best Homegrown Feature Film award which was held at Garden State Film Festival in New Jersey. Prasanna and Sneha are playing the lead role in this film. This film was directed by Arun Vaidyanathan who made his debut in this film. This film was produced jointly by Ramzan Lakhani, Srinivasan Perumal, Asma Hashmi, Ananth Govindhan and the director Arun Vaidyanathan.

After receiving the award , the director Arun Vaidyanathan said that he is very happy that his film won the award across the language barrier and the people were totally impressed with the film. The story of the film is about the South Indian Tamil immigrant family which living in US and the impact of adapting US culture. The film is scheduled to hit the screen in summer 2009.
