Movie preview - Yaavarum Nalam

Vikram K. Kumar’s Yaavarum Nalam, starring Madhavan and Neetu Chandra. The Music was composed by Shankar-Ehasan-Loy and cinematography by P.C.Sriram. The film also stars Saranya, Telugu actor-director Ravibabu and TV actor Ameeta. This film is 'inspired' from a Hollywood film, Vikram deserves special credit for a unique and bold attempt of horror that is untouched by our film-makers.

The film opens with a happy family making their way into their new home (Madhavan, Neethu Chandra, Saranya – The Mother, Maddy’s brother, his wife and their children, his sister). But there commences a television serial on the same day titled ‘Yaavarum Nalam’ that centers on the similar scenario of a happy family getting into their new house. At first, none notices the similarities and when Maddy does it, he’s thrown into madness that can’t be revealed outside. Things are fine and good till everything is cool in the television channel, but once scenarios are bad on the show, in reality it’s gonna be more……..????

The songs of ‘Yaavarum Nalam’ is a sweet melody and how far it would fit this horror film, you’re wrong. The song indeed is the signature music that keeps repeated several times and that’s the biggest ever appreciative aspect about the filmmaker.

On the whole, ‘Yaavarum Nalam’ is a magnificent horror film that overbeats the previous films.
