Student turns into heroine in Shankar's film

Shankar has visited to see the location in that place he saw a student Chandini who is studying 10th standard. While addressing the conference, Shankar said that he has chosen Chandini has a heroine that suits her face for his story of the film 'Uthiram'.

He said that earlier he had distributed the film Silandhi and now he is directing the film Uthiram. As soon as he saw Chandini he asked her interest to act in this film. She accepted this offer after two days. Chandini was paired up with Jegath. Magesh Varma is doing a baddie role in this film. The shooting of this film has happened in Thalakkonam for 70 days. They have taken 20 days to shoot the climax scene. They had also shots the scene in Air Deccan airways and spent nearly Rs.20 lakhs for this scene.
