Cinematographer turned director, late Jeeva’s project Dhaam Dhoom is ready for release and a press meet was conducted at Chennai yesterday.
The meet was attended by lead stars Jeyam Ravi, Kangana Ranaut, Lakshmi Rai apart from other technicians associated with the film. Jeeva had completed most of the film when his sudden and shocking

demise happened. Further on, the film was completed by his associate Manikandan under the supervision of Aneez Jeeva and cinematographer P C Sreeram.

While talking about the title Dhaam Dhoom, hero Jeyam Ravi said, “His name in the film is Gautham Subramanian and heroine Kangana Ranaut is Shenba.
Dhaam denotes the soft and beautiful relationship that the two families of the hero and heroine share and Dhoom is suggestive of the events that happen to the families in Russia. He also added that Dhaam Dhoom is only a conversational Tamil word and would certainly enjoy the benefit of Government’s entertainment tax waiver.

Music composer Harris Jeyaraj who spoke on the occasion said that the words which have been used in songs conformed to the style which was followed in 1950s in Tamil films.
